FPL is the Engineer-of-Record for the “B” permit street improvement packages and on-site grading plans for the $2.5 billion project developed by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) in the Downtown Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District. L.A. LIVE is a one-of-a-kind entertainment campus providing Los Angeles residents, commuters, guests, and tourists with a world-class sports and entertainment destination. Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles next to Staples Center, the 5.6 million square foot mixed-use development serves as a catalyst to enhance the downtown economy, including the adjacent Los Angeles Convention Center. It includes the Nokia Theatre/Plaza, ESPN broadcasting studio, restaurants, music clubs, bowling lanes, Regal Cinemas, Grammy Museum, two luxury hotels (JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton), and high density residences.
