FPL provides traffic engineering services for both building and infrastructure projects. For building projects, particularly in Downtown Los Angeles, FPL works on behalf of developers with contractors, approval agencies, elected officials, and construction managers to develop quality maintenance of traffic programs that facilitate construction and keep cars moving while ensuring the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, construction workers, and motorists.
For infrastructure projects, ranging from highway to local street to transit to active transportation to pipeline projects, FPL specializes in delivering joint jurisdiction projects that require approvals from stakeholders such as Caltrans (Districts 7, 8, 11, 12, and/or Headquarters), municipalities (the City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles, for example), transportation agencies (METRO, OCTA, SBCTA, RCTC, SANDAG, and SCRRA, for example), federal agencies (FHWA and FTA, for example), and homeowner associations.
